Hi everyone,
On Wednesday night, we officially launched The Women Creators in Los Angeles — the first community for women in the creator economy.
Why did we build this? Because women creators are being underpaid, underrepresented, and left out of the rooms where real information gets shared.
Men share numbers freely. Women are often made to feel they should just be grateful for the opportunity. So we built a space where we share real strategies, real rates, and real support.
Our launch event at The Lighthouse was packed. Allison Yazdian, CEO of Uscreen, broke down how creators can build monetized communities. Three things stuck with me:
1. You can start monetizing with as few as 10,000 followers. Most people think you need millions. You don't.
2. The riches are in the niches. One example: a radiologist in Bulgaria making serious money teaching other radiologists how to read scans. B2B creators are quietly building empires.
3. Speak to your audience like it was you five years ago. The best creators aren't talking down to their audience — they're talking to their former selves.
Then, we closed the night with an incredible NA cocktail bar by Three Spirit and Pure Clarity.
Want to monetize? A note from our sponsor:
Uscreen empowers video creators to transform their content into a profitable subscription business with a world-class streaming platform and membership community tools.
